Throw development tasks to the AI agent's roulette wheel with one click
Zest is a macOS gadget that uses an interesting interaction to schedule programming agents: press Option+Space in any project, a glass-textured wheel will pop up at the cursor, flick it towards a certain sector, let go, and the corresponding task will be handed over to Claude Code, Codex or the terminal to run.
Each sector is a preset command, such as "fix the problem in my screenshot", "check this change" and "run a test". You can have multiple agents do the same thing at the same time in their own independent git worktree, and finally select one result to merge, and the rest are discarded directly. By placing a .zest.yml in the warehouse, you can customize the sectors and prompt words, and they will be shared by the entire team after submission.
Suitable for Mac developers who already heavily use programming agents and find it too annoying to switch windows back and forth. Requires macOS 26 or above, the initial price is $19, and there is a 14-day free trial.
