What is HumanLayer?
HumanLayer is an API and SDK that enables tools to use AI agents to interact with humans in order to obtain assistance, feedback, or approval. It provides these AI agents with the ability to collaborate with humans, making them feel like genuine colleagues. HumanLayer supports various communication channels such as Slack, email, and Discord, and is integrated with major orchestration frameworks as well as large language models (LLMs).
How to use HumanLayer?
Integrate the HumanLayer SDK into your AI agent workflow. Use the @hl.require Approval() decorator to prevent function calls that require human supervision. Communicate with humans through various channels and direct approvals to specific teams or individuals.
