What is OtterTune?
OtterTune uses artificial intelligence to optimize MySQL and PostgreSQL databases running on Amazon RDS and Aurora. It improves performance by up to 4x and reduces costs by 50%. OtterTune monitors and optimizes database parameters, resources, indexes, tables, queries, automated vacuums, and more. OtterTune, an automated database tuning service from Carnegie Mellon University, is no longer in service.
How to use OtterTune?
OtterTune was used to automatically tune database configurations to improve performance and reduce costs. However, the service is currently no longer active.
