End-to-end AI deployment toolchain
Roofline provides a development toolchain for edge AI, with the goal of enabling models to be successfully integrated into various types of chips and made operational.
The product consists of three components. The SDK is based on their newly developed next-generation AI compiler and is designed for one-stop deployment; the Runtime is a SoC-level inference engine that ensures consistency across different devices; finally, the Performance Dashboard is used to evaluate and monitor the actual performance in real-world scenarios, rather than relying solely on laboratory test results.
The supported application types include large models, vision systems, language processing tools, audio analysis algorithms, and radar technologies. On the model side, options such as LiquidAI’s LFM2.5 series, Google’s Gemma3-270M, and Mistral-7B are available, and each of them is labeled with information regarding their compatibility on CPU, GPU, and NPU platforms.
Targeting two types of customers – manufacturers of products, as well as those producing hardware and intellectual property – the main value proposition offered by the official platform is the ability to accelerate time-to-market and enable the full functionality of SoCs. The website is available in multiple languages, including Chinese, English, and Japanese.
This is a tool that is more geared towards lower-level engineering tasks; ordinary developers may not find it useful, but teams working on hardware development will understand exactly how much time and effort it can save them.
