A design tool that uses AI to generate patterns for clothing designs
Seamcult is a tool designed for pattern making in the clothing industry, and its approach is quite innovative: the cutouts for the paper patterns are created by your AI system, while Seamcult provides the necessary framework, mannequins generated based on body measurements, as well as rules for pattern making and geometric verification.
It is itself an MCP server, and intelligent agents that support this protocol, such as Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT, can all connect to it. There are four common ways to use it: using a finished garment photo to generate a pattern; adjusting the body size parameters to re-design the garment; describing the style in a single sentence to directly create a new pattern; or modifying an existing pattern. After the intelligent agent completes its work, Seamcult checks the seams and dimensions, and then humans review the final result on the canvas.
The design template can be exported in PDF, PLT, or DXF format at any time. The interface is available in Simplified Chinese. You can start using it for free – it is ideal for independent designers and small fashion studios.
