Team Claude Code and Codex Session Analysis
Opaline does team-wide analytics for AI coding usage. Its official analogy is “PostHog for Claude Code and Codex sessions.” It tracks each team member’s coding agent sessions down to every individual message: how many tokens were used, how much money was spent, how much time was spent, and which skills were used.
For tech leads, the most immediate benefit is seeing exactly where the AI coding bill is going, followed by identifying who is stuck on what and turning one person’s hard-won best practices into team-wide know-how. It also supports session replay and filters out keys and sensitive information before upload.
The core code is open source under the MIT license and can be run from the command line with a single npx command. Teams with high security requirements can self-host or deploy privately. Basic features are free; see the official pricing page for paid team tiers.
