Olostep

Olostep integrates several functionalities related to web data into a single API: search, scraping, website crawling, site mapping, and the direct provision of answers.

Its purpose is clearly stated: to provide data infrastructure for “the second type of users on the internet” – that is, artificial intelligence systems. Common applications include supplying data for agents, conducting research, completing information gaps, implementing RAG techniques, and managing real-time data pipelines.

In addition to APIs, other access methods include the Playground for online trials, as well as MCP Server and CLI. Agents can directly take over these functions; there is also an Agent mode that allows a survey request in natural language format to be automatically processed.

Many such products have emerged in the past two years. The main differences lie in stability, anti-crawling measures, and the quality of their structure; these aspects can only be determined through actual testing.
