Voice programming that provides prompts while speaking
Wand is a small tool that allows users to “write” code by speaking. It is designed for developers and entrepreneurs who think more quickly than they can type. Simply hold your phone near the microphone and voice your ideas; the tool will transcribe them in real-time, organize the fragmented spoken instructions into coherent prompts, and then use Vercel’s v0 system to generate the corresponding code.
In terms of functionality, the phone is responsible for receiving signals, while the large computer screen is used for organizing and displaying the information; the two screens work together seamlessly. The product itself is also built using V0 and Vercel AI Gateway.
It is still in the Beta phase and is available for free. It is ideal for those who are already using version v0 to create prototypes but find it too time-consuming to repeatedly type long prompts.
