Print the records of Claude Code as receipts.
Chit is a rather niche but quite useful Mac utility: it retrieves the history of your Claude Code usage on your local computer, organizes the tasks you actually completed that day by project, and presents them in the form of a “receipt-like” list. You can simply copy this list and use it in meeting reports or timekeeping records.
The entire application weighs only 777 KB. It does not rely on Python or any other scripts, nor does it require an internet connection; it simply reads data from local files, which ensures a high level of privacy. It is compatible with macOS 13 and later versions, and can be used on both Apple chips and Intel processors.
The basic functions are available for free, and simply viewing the complete list for the current day is sufficient. The Pro version can be purchased once for $12, enabling access to additional features such as viewing past code logs. It is ideal for developers who use Claude Code every day but often forget what they did the previous day when it comes time to review their work.
