Open-source human-machine collaborative data analysis workspace
The data team uses Notebooks to carry out their work, while AI agents perform their tasks in the adjacent chat windows. As a result, the outcomes produced by these two groups often do not match. Alkera Databench combines these two scenarios into a single workspace: humans and AI agents can collaborate within the same Notebook and through the same conversation. Each cell in this environment can be executed on local machines, remote servers, or GPU nodes, and every resulting output can be traced back to the specific person who generated it and the code that was used to calculate it.
The product is open-source and can be self-hosted; there are also free versions available for managed hosting. It is designed for professional data engineering and analysis teams, and may be a bit overkill for individual analysts working on their own. Those who value traceability of results and need to have AI-generated outputs reviewed within a team will find this product particularly useful.
