What is the Verifee AI Chrome extension/plugin?
Verifee is a tool that uses artificial intelligence to assess the credibility of articles on Czech news websites. Its goal is to help readers in an internet world flooded with information. Verifee does not tell you whether what you are reading is true; instead, it alerts you that the article’s writing style is similar to that of unreliable media, so you should treat its content with caution.
How to use the Verifee AI Chrome extension/plugin?
Verifee can be used as a browser extension or a web app. As an extension, it is always at hand—it automatically appears on news articles. The app, on the other hand, can evaluate any article you submit to it without requiring any installation. It provides a so-called credibility score that intuitively tells you whether you should be cautious while reading. It also offers more detailed analysis to help you understand the basis for its decisions. During normal operation, it appears as a small icon in the corner of the window so as not to disturb you. If an article receives an extremely low score, it warns you and automatically displays the analysis results.
