What is the SafeType AI Chrome extension/plug-in?
Secure Input is a browser extension developed by Cyera Labs that helps users identify sensitive information that they might inadvertently enter into ChatGPT. It runs locally, detects various types of sensitive data as well as code written in different programming languages, and highlights such content before it is submitted, allowing for its anonymization. The purpose of Secure Input is to raise users’ awareness and prevent the accidental leakage of private information, without compromising their privacy in the process.
How to use the SafeType AI Chrome extension/plug-in?
Install the Secure Input browser extension. When you visit chat.openai.com, it will automatically identify any private data you enter during the session and highlight sensitive information so that you can review and process it before sending it.
