Real-time cloud-based inference using robotic AI models
Dreamscale Labs is a company incubated by YC that specializes in “cloud-based inference” in the field of robotics. Cutting-edge physical AI models such as VLA and World Action Models are large in size and highly sensitive to latency; it is extremely difficult to integrate them into robots. Dreamscale solves this problem by running these models in the cloud in real-time, allowing robots to access their functionality via the internet.
The data provided on the official website states that the NVIDIA DreamZero 14B model can complete inference tasks in just 320 milliseconds, and its end-to-end latency is 40% to 50% lower than that of current cloud service providers. In addition, a single H100 chip can support more than 8 robots simultaneously. Whether it’s selecting the right model or connecting the robots, this hardware takes care of all the computational tasks required.
The target audience mainly consists of teams engaged in robot deployment and evaluation; individual users generally have little use for this tool.
