Open-source AI email assistant and cleanup tools
Inbox Zero delegates the tedious task of organizing your inbox to AI: new emails are automatically labeled upon arrival. For those that require a response, the system drafts a reply in line with your usual tone and stores it in the draft folder. You can review it, make a few adjustments, and then send it off. Other features include the ability to unsubscribe from bulk emails, block unsolicited promotional messages, and view statistics on your email exchanges.
It is an open-source project, and its code is available on GitHub, so you can deploy it yourself if you wish. If you find the process too troublesome, you can simply use the official hosted version, which offers a free trial option. Currently, it supports Gmail and Outlook, and you can also view and reply to emails within Slack and Telegram. Recently, they have released their own Inbox Zero Mail client as well. For sales professionals who handle hundreds of emails every day, or founders who receive around a dozen messages per day, this tool is definitely useful. However, for those who receive far fewer emails, there’s no need to go through the extra effort of setting it up yourself.
