Use a walkie-talkie to remotely control the AI programming assistant.
Walkai-talkai is a truly geeky Mac utility: it allows you to connect an ordinary walkie-talkie (regardless of the brand, such as Baofeng, Quansheng, or Motorola) to your Mac via an audio cable. By pressing the PTT button to speak, the software converts your voice into text locally using the Whisper technology and automatically inputs it into AI programming assistants like Cursor, Antigravity, or Terminal. Once the AI has completed its processing, the response is synthesized by a neural speech system and played back through the walkie-talkie, along with the appropriate call signal and end signal.
It is ideal for developers who want to control intelligent devices remotely while working in the yard, garage, or at a distance from their computers. It also makes an excellent toy for amateur radio enthusiasts. Currently, voice recognition is available in English and Turkish.
It requires an Apple chip Mac running macOS 13 or later, and must be purchased for permanent use.
