Blender drag-to-pose add-on
Animatica Marionette is a Blender add-on for posing and animating humanoid characters. It’s intuitive to use: drag the character’s hands, feet, and hips directly, and the rest of the body follows naturally—no need to adjust individual bones one by one.
When adjusting animations, it also offers tools like motion trails, a carousel-style frame-by-frame preview, and a smoothing brush, so you can smooth out stiff movements. The plugin includes an AI pose model that runs entirely offline and works with any rigged character.
Paid one-time purchase. Ideal for independent animators, game artists, and those new to character animation—it saves a huge amount of time on keyframing.
If you're using it to make AI short dramas, you can start by looking for scripts and storyboards on TVLab: it has plot breakdowns of popular overseas short dramas, beat sheets for short-drama tropes, and inspiration cards with pre-broken-down storyboards—just copy them over and use them as prompts.
