Managing a team of programming agents within a Mac window
ManyAgents is a native Mac application that allows Claude Code and Codex to work together as a “team” to write code. Each project has an Orchestrator; you simply tell it what your requirements are, and it is responsible for breaking down the tasks, creating individual tabs for each task, and keeping track of who is working on what.
It is the Workers who carry out the actual tasks. Each Worker completes a specific task within an independent Git worktree, without interfering with one another. After completing their respective tasks, they conduct tests before submitting reports. When faced with difficult design decisions or bugs that neither Worker can resolve on their own, a Thinker is invited to provide guidance. In addition, there are Reviewers responsible for conducting thorough inspections. Next to the chat window, users can view real-time previews of web pages or iOS applications, allowing them to observe how the final products take shape step by step.
It directly utilizes the Claude Code and Codex quotas you have already subscribed to, without charging any additional fees for AI services. The code itself remains on your local device. This feature is available on macOS 14 and later versions, and it requires the installation of Claude Code. There is a 14-day free trial period before you need to purchase an authorization license.
