What is Hello Transcribe?
Hello Transcribe is a private and secure speech-to-text transcription tool that uses OpenAI Whisper and Whisper.cpp. It is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It lets users transcribe voice notes, audio files, videos, podcasts, or dictate through the microphone. All processing is done on-device, ensuring privacy and supporting offline use. Saved results are stored encrypted in iCloud.
How do I use Hello Transcribe?
Download Hello Transcribe from the App Store. Use it to transcribe voice notes, audio files, and videos, or to dictate through your microphone. Choose from multiple model configurations for fast or accurate transcription. Export VTT or SRT files for use as video subtitles.
