A screenwriting tool that changes scripts like writing code
Plot is a script writing software made by Inkwell, which calls itself "the IDE for screenwriters". It borrows the working method of programmers: the modifications given by AI are marked word by word like a code review, and you decide whether to accept them one by one; each version is recorded, you can set up a named save point, and you can also keep multiple alternative writing methods.
The editor supports 16 standard script elements and 10 revision colors specified by the Writers Guild of America, and can import and export FDX, Fountain and PDF. The AI part includes agent mode, multi-step revision, dialogue check and front-to-back continuity check. It also supports real-time collaboration between multiple people in the same scene, locking the shooting draft, and pre-checking before submission.
Its benchmark targets are established screenwriting software such as Final Draft and WriterDuet. It is suitable for film and television screenwriters and short drama teams. The interface is in English, and the Chinese script format is not within its design scope.
