BFL's open-weight lightweight text-to-image model
FLUX 3 Image Klein is an online demo page that Black Forest Labs has put on Hugging Face, corresponding to its latest small open-weight model with 5.6B parameters.
Capabilities include text-to-image and image editing, with support for up to 10 reference images. You can also use simple box selection to control the layout and tell the model what to place in which area. The demo page offers several step-count and size options; the distilled version generates images faster, while the base version delivers finer detail.
It’s suitable for developers and designers who want to try out the new FLUX model or plan to deploy it locally. The online demo is free, and wait times depend on how many people are in the queue at the time. Before commercial use, make sure to read the model weight license carefully.
