A desktop AI assistant that delivers a finished product from a single spoken sentence.
Tokeny is a desktop AI agent that can be installed on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Its positioning is stated plainly: it's not a chat box, but a delivery machine.
To use it, first put your materials into the local workspace, then describe the task in one sentence. For example, “Turn the quarterly summary into a 15-page presentation deck,” “Organize three months of orders into an Excel spreadsheet with charts,” or “Turn these meeting notes into a formal Word document.” It will generate editable files directly on your local machine, rather than giving you a block of text you have to copy and paste yourself. Beyond office documents, it can also conduct online research, merge PDFs and add page numbers, produce code review reports, build responsive landing pages, and even take over a browser you’re already logged into to fill out backend forms.
On the model side, you need to connect your own API key. It supports 10 providers and 60+ models, and you can also add custom providers. It has built-in multi-agent collaboration, a skill marketplace, and an MCP marketplace. The software itself is free to download, and model costs are billed through your own key. It’s suitable for individuals and small teams that frequently need to create PowerPoint decks, reports, and weekly updates.
