Any changes made within the Overlay are immediately reflected in both the Aledade application and the EHR system. This tool utilizes machine learning to identify relevant fields within the EHR data, thereby displaying pertinent patient information. Currently in a testing phase, it provides suggestions for potential diagnoses; however, healthcare institutions remain responsible for ensuring the accuracy of coding choices and documentation.
How to use the Aledade EHR Overlay AI Chrome extension/plug-in?
This overlay is directly integrated into your existing EHR system. When you view a patient’s record, the overlay will display potential diagnoses based on machine learning analysis. You can review these recommendations and take appropriate action; any changes you make will be reflected in both the Aledade application and the EHR in real time.
