Libraries S2 is a tool similar to Connected Paper, designed for visualizing and exploring research papers. It uses visual representations to assist students, researchers, and scientists in finding and studying papers related to their areas of expertise.

Compared to Connected Paper, this website has two significant advantages: First, it is completely free at present. Second, it contains a collection of 214 million documents and collaborates with 34 database providers.

How to use it:

1. Use the paper title and DOI to locate a typical research paper in your field of study.

2. The website will then conduct an in-depth analysis of this typical paper, identify dozens of papers that are most closely related to it, and construct a relationship graph depicting these connections.

• It allows you to quickly obtain a genuine and intuitive understanding of the trends, popular works, and developments in the fields that interest you.

How to view the literature map?

Each node represents a literature piece related to the target.

• The documents on the left side are sorted according to their content similarity.
• The size of a node is determined by the number of times that reference is made to that particular literature.
• The shade of a node’s color is determined by its age.
• Nodes colored orange indicate that they have a high influence and are frequently cited.
• Similar documents tend to cluster together, forming a clustered distribution.
