What is Supertest?
Supertest is an AI assistant for software testing designed to automate quality assurance engineering tasks, specifically writing unit tests. It provides a VS Code extension that allows users to generate unit tests in seconds with a single click. Supertest currently supports React Testing Library, with plans to support multiple testing libraries.
How to use Supertest?
Install the Supertest VS Code extension, register for an account, and integrate it into your workflow. Right-click in the file and select Generate Unit Tests, or use the shortcut cmd⌘+u cmd⌘+t to create a new file containing the unit tests. You can also select Add Test ID by right-clicking, or use the shortcut cmd⌘+u cmd⌘+i to automatically add a test ID.
