“Memory of the World” is an international initiative launched by UNESCO with the aim of preserving and promoting documentary heritage of global significance. This program includes precious documents and materials from around the world, such as ancient manuscripts, historical archives, maps, audio-visual records, etc., reflecting the diversity of human civilization and the profoundness of our history.
For example, among China’s initial collections were 20 precious documents, including oracle bone inscriptions, Dunhuang manuscripts, and written works in the scripts of ethnic minorities.
