An AI-native agent browser
Tabbit is an AI-powered browser, and its main selling point lies in the fact that it enables the browser to understand your current context, rather than simply functioning as a container for tabs.
You can provide it with whatever you want as context: a tab in your browser, a local file, a screenshot, an element that you have just selected on the page, a PDF document, or a bookmark. After reading this information, the Agent will plan and execute the necessary actions on its own. It is designed with multiple roles assigned to different functions: Research is responsible for reading papers; Operator handles data scraping tasks; Writer is in charge of drafting documents; Analyst computes relevant data—all these components rely on their respective pre-installed “Skills” to function effectively.
One of the interesting aspects of its design is the set of skills available. The developers have pre-installed more than 2,000 skills for over a hundred popular websites, including YouTube, Bilibili, GitHub, Gmail, and Reddit. Users are also allowed to create their own skills.
The model supports very aggressive deployment; it claims that mainstream new models can be used within 12 hours of their release on Tabbit. Currently, it is available for free on macOS (M1 and above) and Windows 10+. Domestic users can access it through the tabbit.com website.
