WorkRally is an industrial-grade AI creation platform developed independently by Tencent Video. It consists of three product lines: AI Comic 2.0, Premium Animation Edition, and Professional Film & Television Edition.

At its core lies the AI Director agent, which, in conjunction with a film-grade Skill library, integrates script analysis, storyboarding creation, 4K video production, and team collaboration into a streamlined workflow. Tencent’s own IP asset ecosystem is also integrated into this process.

The official figure indicates that the rework rate due to inconsistencies in character appearances across different shots has been reduced from an average of 40% to 50% in the industry to less than 10%. This issue represents the biggest challenge in AI-generated comic dramas: when the same character uses a different face in the third shot, all previous efforts become meaningless.

The classification of these three product lines is based on precision: the mass-produced manga series focus on quantity, while the high-quality animated productions aim for excellence in quality. The professional film and television versions are designed to handle longer-form projects and meet more stringent delivery standards.

This is ideal for anime production teams, animation studios, and film and television companies that are under pressure to increase their output. Individual creators can also make use of it, but the platform’s features for team collaboration and asset management are not sufficient for single-person users.

Video tools are designed to handle the visual aspect of content, but the story itself still needs to be created separately. TVLab has compiled a collection of currently popular short-form dramas as well as common story tropes (such as overcoming adversity, hiding one’s true identity, contract marriages, and so on). Each inspiration card includes vertical storyboard layouts and visual cues to help with storytelling.
