Pixel-precise social media cover image
After finishing an article and posting it on WeChat and Twitter, the system automatically selected a random image as the thumbnail, and half of the title was cut off. Creating a custom design for this thumbnail, searching for templates online, or registering a new account would involve disproportionate costs.
This tool is precisely designed to fill this gap: you can simply type in the title, select a gradient background, preview the result in real time, and then export it directly. It supports five different formats – the standard OG size of 1200×630, Twitter cards, YouTube cover images, 1:1 thumbnails, and 1080×1920 vertical stories – and I’ve tested all eight available gradient options; they will never clash with white text when used.
The line-breaking logic has been adapted to handle Chinese text. Many foreign cover generators split words based on spaces, but since Chinese does not use spaces, this often results in either the entire line overflowing or the text being cut off in awkward locations.
Keep the title within two to three lines; when it is displayed in an abbreviated form, most people will not pay attention to the remaining content. Leave enough margin around the image, as the same image may be recut at different ratios on various platforms, and the text that is too close to the edges will likely be cut off first.
