Integrated AI Research Literature Workspace
NNScholar is a desktop-based AI research tool that integrates literature retrieval, PDF reading, note-taking, evidence management, and paper writing into a single collaborative environment. Users can start a literature review by specifying a research topic, DOI number, PMID, arXiv identifier, or research question; any useful documents found during the search are automatically stored within the project.
When reading PDF files, you can engage in conversations, perform translations, and add annotations; you can also ask questions within the context of the document. During the writing process, you can organize the evidence you have collected into a coherent manuscript, and the system will also check citations to reduce the risk of AI-generated reference lists being inaccurate. Additionally, you can use research-oriented intelligent agents to help you conduct searches and organize information on your behalf.
Currently, the macOS client is being heavily promoted. The interface supports Chinese, and it can be used for free. For information on the paid versions, please refer to the pricing page on the official website. This tool is ideal for postgraduate students and researchers who need to prepare review articles or research proposals; however, the generated content still requires manual verification against the original sources.
